Went here for the block party and had a pizza, it is actually really good. I guess they have deals on the pizza during the week. Probably the best pizza I have had while I have been at school. I wish they delivered ha

The sesame shrimp was really good. I had a lambchop risoto which was also real good, haven't had a lambchop in a while. The best thing was definitely the pumpkin cake though, friggin amazing. Definitely get over there asap to check it out. Also, used the GrubStub and got great discount!

My girlfriends and I had a great time at Aperitivo the other night. The bar was pretty full, and we were told it was mainly because there was a show at Proctor's. We sat at the windows in these really cool chairs and tried some of the appetizer type things - kind of like tapas. They say it's Italian, but it's not like chicken parm and stuff like that, it's more of a cool kind of Italian. I don't know what you call it. Our server was great (and very cute) I think his name was Mike or Mark. We had a great time, and had a nice walk back to campus.

I went to Aperitivo for the first time after having heard so many great things about the place from a bunch of people. The food was amazing; I definitely recommend any one of the pizzas! We got our food fast, the waitress was extremely friendly, and being that it's so close to campus I have gone numerous times now.

Extreme Disappointment

I have been to Aperitivo on several different occasions. My first experience was not great but I figured try it one more time. I am currently a Freshman at Union and when it was parents weekend I took my parents to Aperitivo. My parents, siblings and myself were extremely disappointed in our meal. The atmosphere was great I felt like I was in Manhattan or somewhere else besides Schenectady. However our appetizers took over 45 minutes to come and over an hour a half for our main course. The service we experienced was TERRIBLE and the place wasn't even crowded. The food wasn't bad but wasn't good in any means for the price. If you want good Italian food check out Cornell's on Jay Street or Scotties on Union. I would not recommend Aperitivo to anyone.
